Wavlink appears like an ordinary house outside…. But inside it offers a world of possibility.
It’s a warm and friendly neighbourhood house for people with any disability that focusses on each person as a unique and capable individual.
Wavlink offers opportunities for skill building in a respectful learning environment that enriches and supports everyone to enjoy a good life. It’s a great place to meet new people, make social connections and have fun with others.
At Wavlink we celebrate difference and welcome everyone into our supportive groups. We provide a range of programs that encourage life skills, independence, individual responsibility and active participation in the wider community. Staff members support the unique abilities of every client and encourage personal choice to find the most suitable program that will best match their interests and skill development.
At Wavlink the focus is on life education, social support and life enrichment. These matters are addressed through educational, recreational, social and life skilling programs based upon individual wishes. We shall help you to gain the skills to achieve them.
All our programs are offered in a safe and welcoming environment located close to public transport and the Glen Waverley shopping precinct. We foster a culture of mutual support, respect, empathy and inclusion.
Our service is a not for profit community based organisation that is fully accredited and funded to deliver programs by the Department of Health and Human Services, Home and Community Care program (HACC) and Adult, Community and Further Education (ACFE).
